Privacy Policy

2.1 Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Qii Wii Goods Inc., a California corporation (“WeeOrg,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the WeeOrg™ Services. WeeOrg is available internationally; depending on where you live, you may have specific rights described below.

2.2 The two roles: WeeOrg and Group Administrators

For personal information you provide directly to run the Services (your account, security, and billing), WeeOrg is the controller. For personal information that a group collects about its members within that group’s site, the Group Administrator directs how that information is used, and WeeOrg acts as a service provider/processor on the group’s behalf. Group Administrators are responsible for having a lawful basis and any required consents for their members’ information and images.

2.3 Information we collect

We collect: (a) account and profile information (such as name, email, and the sign-in identifier you use); (b) content you submit (posts, photos, event and RSVP details, directory entries); (c) membership and role information within groups; (d) usage and device information (such as log data, device and browser type, and general location inferred from IP) collected through cookies and similar technologies; and (e) limited payment information — card details are collected and processed by our PCI DSS Level 1 compliant processor, and we receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits) but not full card numbers.

2.4 How we use information

We use information to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Services; to authenticate users and record acceptance of our Terms; to enable group features; to process subscriptions; to communicate with you; to prevent fraud and abuse; to comply with law; and for other purposes described to you or with your consent.

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (to provide the Services); legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Services); consent (for certain cookies and communications); and legal obligation. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

2.6 How we share information

We share information with: (a) service providers who help us operate the Services (such as hosting, security, and the payment processor), under contracts that limit their use; (b) other members of your group, according to your group’s settings and your profile choices; (c) your Group Administrator, for administration of your group; and (d) authorities or others when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

2.7 Cookies and similar technologies

We use necessary cookies to run the Services and, where you consent, functional and analytics cookies. Where required, we present a cookie banner allowing you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.

2.8 Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business and legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it. Acceptance records for our Terms are retained to evidence agreement.

2.9 Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including group data isolation and authenticated access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

2.10 International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

2.11 Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have rights to know, delete, correct, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined. EEA/UK residents have rights under GDPR/UK GDPR, including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. 2.12 Children and minors’ information

WeeOrg is a service for adults, and account holders must be 18 or older. We do not direct the Services to children or knowingly allow children to create accounts, so we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child. A group’s adult Group Administrator may submit information about minors (such as a roster or a photo) for youth-serving activities; that adult is responsible for having the parent’s or guardian’s permission. Minors participate through invitation and view-only access rather than by creating accounts. A parent or guardian may request removal of a child’s information at any time by emailing [email protected].

2.13 Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy and will post the updated version with a new effective date and provide notice where appropriate.
